Prime Distribution Services (PDS), an Ascent Global Logistics Company, today announced the appointment of Chris Moore as its new Vice President of Sales. As an industry-leading retail consolidation solution provider, Prime Distribution Services is a complete supply chain management resource, delivering innovative retail logistics solutions designed to maximize service, capabilities and efficiency while controlling cost for customers. In his new role, Moore will oversee the retail consolidation business of big-box clients, further developing Prime's diversification plans and building density with all retail programs.

"Chris joins the Prime Distribution Services team with extensive experience working with companies like Walmart and Sam's Club and we are looking forward to the expertise and leadership he will bring to our team," said William Vechiarella, President of Prime Distribution Services. "Under Chris' management, Prime is poised to build upon our recent momentum, driving further growth across the retail consolidation segment of Ascent Global Logistics."

Moore will be an active member of the Prime Distribution Services Executive Team with primary oversight of all sales and business development activities, including the expansion of the sales organization at Prime Distribution Services. Additionally, Moore will help Prime Distribution Services provide clients with proactive guidance and solutions as retail logistics continue to evolve.

Before joining Prime Distribution Services, Moore served as Director of Sales for a well-established Walmart and Sam's Club supplier where he was responsible for the development of business strategies, building of relationships with clients as well as identifying and diagnosing issues and opportunities to ensure profit growth.

Moore graduated from Lamar University and resides in Bentonville, AR with his wife and two children.
