Logistyx Technologies (www.logistyx.com), a leader in Transportation Management Execution™ (TME) systems, today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Geoffrey Finlay, a 35-year veteran of the software and computer technology industries, as Chief Executive Officer.

Having previously served as CEO at public companies based in the United Kingdom and the United States and holding chairmanships as well as non-executive director roles in public and venture-backed businesses, Finlay's expertise combines deep industry knowledge with a keen business savvy.

"We welcome Geoffrey's experience, clarity of vision and innovative leadership style as we continue to build on our core focus," said Logistyx Board Chairman Gerry DeBiasi, "which is to provide our customers with flexible technology to optimize their e-commerce and fulfillment operations while giving them greater control over their shipping costs and global distribution network."

"I'm very excited about the future of Logistyx Technologies, a world-class leader in transportation management execution, and I am honored to have the chance to lead it into the future," Finlay said. "With the support of our Board, our executive team and all our employees, my vision for our company is straightforward, ensuring that industry analysts will point to Logistyx Technologies as a textbook example of how to succeed in providing TME systems and multi-carrier parcel shipping software solutions to customers all over the world."

A serial and successful entrepreneur, Finlay's many business achievements include leading the sale of nCipher to Thales while he was CEO and acting as Managing Director during the NASDAQ flotation of JDA Software. His previous positions include Chairman of UDEX Ltd. and CEO at Kewill Systems, where the company grew to a $1.5 billion (US) valuation under his leadership.
