The SpiralVeyor SV spiral conveyor from AmbaFlex now comes in a variety of options to solve facility problems. The units are available with belt widths that range from 4 to 32 inches. Depending on the model, loads of up to 80 pounds per foot can be conveyed at speeds of up to 300 feet per minute. This corresponds with a throughput capacity of 6,000 items per hour. The SpiralVeyor is able to handle a broad range of products, from plastic crates to heavy shrink packs and cartons.
New innovations in the SpiralVeyor line include the dual lane model SVX-DL for a parallel flow of goods and the Multilevel SpiralVeyor ML, which has the ability to induct or divert items on and off of the spiral conveyor at multiple levels.
The SpiralVeyor SVX-EB model features a modified design that includes multiple belts that run in parallel to provide a greater conveying width, making this conveyor suitable for postal and parcel automation. The SVX-EB is a compact and reliable solution for elevating large parcels between floors or up to sorting platforms.
And another model, the AccuVeyor AVZ, is a tote accumulator. This spiral conveyor is fitted with zones that can be activated individually to provide uphill or downhill zone accumulation. It combines compact dimensions with gigantic storage capacities. The AccuVeyor AVZ spiral tote accumulator is designed to work with both trays and containers.
