Transite Technology, a developer of logistics software and services, offers Rapid Rate Client, an LTL, TL, and small package transportation costing application that lets users determine actual shipping charges before the shipping process begins.

The software combines a user-friendly interface with Transite's Web-hosted contract management system. Once negotiated carrier agreements, transit times, fuel indexes, and rate bases are loaded into Transite's contract management application, users simply submit shipping queries from the Transite Rapid Rate Client screen. Lowest-cost rate quotes are returned to the user in real time.
