Pick-MAX2

April 1, 2007
No Comments

IPTI Inc. introduces the Pick-MAX2, a ground-up redesign of the company's Pick-MAX pick-to-light system. This new version offers a pick face display that reduces operator picking motions. It also features pick status indicators to make the picking process more efficient.

The Pick-MAX2 system is built for speed. It combines the "task complete" button and the indicator for one-touch, one-glance operation. Teamed up with IPTI's Watch-ME system, the Pick-MAX2 allows pickers to work in a zoned or zoneless mode, depending upon the application. This approach maximizes capability while maintaining real-time accountability.

Pick-MAX2 also features Sense-ME hand sensor technology. By detecting hand motion, Sense-ME validates picks from the pick face. It reduces picking mistakes due to picking from the wrong location and improves efficiency by eliminating the requirement to press a button after each pick or put.

Measuring only five inches wide, the smaller Pick-MAX2 face allows higher pick densities to maximize the investment in storage and floor space with no sacrifice in functionality. Its indicator light has five colors, allowing multiple pickers per zone or use in batch picking applications. The Pick-MAX2 uses IPTI's snap-in design, making this pick-to-light system easy to install, reconfigure, and maintain.
