Don Savage Joins Commonwealth Supply Chain Advisors

Boston, MA (August 22, 2017) - Commonwealth Supply Chain Advisors, a leading supply chain consulting firm, is pleased to welcome Don Savage to the company's team of supply chain experts. As a senior consultant, Mr. Savage will work with Commonwealth's clients to solve performance issues in existing distribution centers, design new facilities and provide guidance on warehouse software.

Mr. Savage has 33 years of experience designing successful integrated distribution center systems for leading companies, many of which have won industry awards. From manual to automated systems, he has worked extensively with multiple material handling technologies and has developed a highly effective method for describing material handling systems and software operation. Over his career he has designed over 75 distribution centers and participated in over 400 systems design projects. Mr. Savage also excels at analyzing troubled systems and providing quick, accurate data and recommendations for fixing them in high pressure situations.

A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Mr. Savage earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Industrial Design. Over the course of his career he has worked for leading global material handling systems manufacturers such as TGW Systems, Diamond Phoenix, System Logistics and White Systems. Additionally, Mr. Savage has developed a distribution system design curriculum, which he has taught for 20 years.
