Dachser USA Launches Additional LCL Services from Germany

April 30, 2018
No Comments

Atlanta, GA (April 30, 2018) - Dachser USA Air & Sea Logistics announced that shippers looking for direct access from Germany to the United States can now take advantage of weekly LCL services from Bremen serving five additional U.S. cities.

The LCL (less-than-container-load) service provides an efficient solution from origins in Europe including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Poland, and Slovakia to major cities in the U.S. - Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Boston, Houston, Atlanta and Charlotte.

Dachser offers closely interlocked logistics solutions through its Dachser Road Logistics and Dachser Air & Sea Logistics business fields, with services including transportation, warehousing and complementing value-added services. With the LCL service Dachser consolidates shipments from various departure points throughout Europe, ensuring the best possible connection to customers' final cargo destination. From most of the largest cities in Europe, Dachser connects to major U.S. cities up to seven days faster than traditional consolidation services.

"Customers using our LCL services will experience shorter transit times, faster cargo availability at the final destination and increased supply chain visibility and predictability due to box ownership and direct vessel service," said Frank Guenzerodt, President & CEO of Dachser USA.

"The service offers customers streamlined coordination and management of all sea freight imports deployed on first class carriers to the U.S.," added Guenzerodt. "Thanks to our extensive European network we can offer seamless visibility from the door of the supplier in Europe to the final destination in the U.S."
The new LCL services add to Dachser's already existing LCL service offerings and wide range of rapidly growing destinations. Dachser allows customers a greater flexibility and choice by continuing to increase the number of destinations served.
