Open Sky Group Reports 282% Increase in 2018 Bookings

January 31, 2019
No Comments

Open Sky Group, global specialists in JDA Software, announces a record-breaking 282% increase in sales bookings in 2018. The company, specializing in WMS, Labor and TMS software implementations and upgrades, added fourteen new clients, including DiversiTech® Corporation, and increased its global headcount by 71% in 2018.

While the company has grown steadily since inception, the past two years have seen a huge acceleration; Open Sky Group completed over 80 full WMS and Labor software implementations in 2017 and 2018. The company attributes this strong upward trend to a growing reputation for its unique approach to software implementations and upgrades as well as its longstanding partnership with JDA. Open Sky Group pairs a methodology of disciplined agility with a proprietary, pre-configured and templated solution that dramatically streamlines the process to decrease timelines, lower costs and reduce risk for clients. The company's vast experience simplifying complex, multi-site implementations into this templated approach translates to successful management of intricate software deployments. Most clients implement or upgrade in four to six months, with upgrade clients typically seeing a 30% savings on maintenance costs.

Open Sky Group is committed to early adoption of some of JDA's newest technologies, like JDA Luminate next generation solutions that extend and enhance JDA's end-to-end portfolio through market-leading edge technologies and has been an early adopter of the newest versions of the JDA software products it resells. This includes JDA Warehouse Management, JDA Warehouse Labor Management, JDA Workforce Management and JDA Transportation Management.

Chad Kramlich, COO for Open Sky Group, says, "When JDA first introduced its persona-based, web user interface into its WMS and Labor software, we saw an opportunity to apply new thinking to the way we engage so that we could truly save our clients time and money. Since then we've completed more than 80 full WMS and Labor software implementations. These clients are not only saving time and costs, they're lowering their risk for future upgrades with our commitment to no software modifications. Now, with the ground-breaking JDA Luminate solutions, we're excited to help our clients leverage these newest technologies to enable more accurate, profitable business decisions."
