October 2, 2018 (Maynard, MA) - Kuebix, creator of a transportation management system that delivers true freight intelligence, today announced the addition of Mike Sofer to its management team as VP of Business Development.

Sofer has a long history of growing and shaping companies' market positions and will help Kuebix keep pace with the rapid growth of its cloud-based TMS platform, which provides visibility and control of freight operations to businesses of every size. Due to the TMS's scalability, ease of use and rapid implementation times, thousands of companies with logistics operations to manage are turning to Kuebix as their transportation solution. Sofer will build on Kuebix's rapid growth to develop new distribution partnerships and integration alliances.

"Kuebix has seen unprecedented growth in the past year as our technology, vision and team of industry experts continue to generate huge excitement in the marketplace," said Dan Clark, Founder and President of Kuebix. "This market attention has helped us to attract the most talented individuals, including Mike, whom we are ecstatic to add to our team."

Sofer is a dynamic business leader with more than 25 years of experience impacting business decisions, growth and sales for both start-ups and growing companies. He has a strong track record of building ROI and profitable relationships with clients, business partners and other third-party organizations.

Prior to joining Kuebix, Sofer was the EVP of Business Development and Sales for Medical Search Technologies where he helped to grow the adoption of the company's artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies. Sofer's deep understanding of the SaaS marketplace has driven sales for enterprise clients and improved channel effectiveness to grow companies' revenue exponentially. He has also held senior sales positions at companies such as PeopleSoft and Echo Global Logistics. Sofer has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University.
