MATCHBACK SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES MAJOR BIG DATA MILESTON

September 1, 2016
No Comments

Green Bay, WI - 1 September 2016 - MatchBack Systems, Inc. (www.matchbacksystems.com), the leading software solution to optimize, automate and communicate matchbacks, announced today it has hit a major big data milestone for customers such as Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL), Kuehne & Nagel, Container Port Group and Celtic to enhance and increase the power of matchbacks within their daily supply chain plans.

"Today, we have over 25,000 posts across 30 different equipment owners in our system," said Todd Ericksrud, CEO of MatchBack Systems. "We present our customers with one million potential matches and 2,500 optimal matchbacks each day. A year ago, we had 5,000 posts and 80,000 potential matches daily. MatchBack Systems is the only company to unlock matchbacks through the power of big data analytics to optimize containers inland. The solution gleaned from our patent-pending algorithm makes a significant economic difference for our customers, filling an unmet industry need to automate matchbacks."

What does this new capacity mean for MatchBack System customers? "In the past 12 months, we presented more than USD25 million in transportation savings and reduced 13 million miles (21 million km) in North America and Europe," continued Ericksrud. "Our technology has also helped eliminate emissions equivalent to 5,280 vehicles. Reducing emissions is becoming increasingly important and our technology assists our customers to improve their environmental performance."
