INTTRA Act SI

INTTRA, an e-commerce platform for the ocean industry, introduces INTTRA Act SI. This new product allows shippers and forwarders to collaborate online to create and manage shipping instructions (SI) for improved work flow. INTTRA Act SI improves access to information and boosts data visibility for the shipper, the forwarder, and the carrier. Users can interact with multiple carriers and share information on all shipments, allowing everyone on the team to back each other up, to check status, and to take action when any one team member is unavailable.

All parties can receive shipping-instruction data electronically, reducing the chance for errors caused from re-keying data sent by fax. There is no software to download and install.

Shipments are managed in one place with the My SI feature and are organized the way the user likes?by customer, by port, by carrier, or by date. Shippers and forwarders also ensure that all shipping instructions make the cutoff through automated access to date and time of carrier receipt.
