Motorized pulleys

Motorized pulleys with integrated shaft encoders allow conveyor system operators to accurately synchronize product movements. The pulleys, from BDL America, feature encoders that use either SKF or SNR pulse outputs to precisely monitor motorized pulley movement to control conveyor belt speed, position, torque and rotational direction. They can be used in applications where there is a need for properly timed conveyor movement, such as positioning, dispensing, adjusting and pick-and-place operations. The encoders are hermetically sealed within a stainless steel housing. The motorized pulleys are also protected from dust and moisture.
