SilMan Industries Expands Southern U.S. Headquarters

November 28, 2018
No Comments

San Leandro, Calif.: SilMan Industries has purchased new office facilities for their Southern headquarters in Tupelo, Miss. The new location expands the company's engineering and operations capability, and offers improved community visibility and engagement.

"SilMan's operations in Tupelo have been a critical part of our growth," said Tom Mangin, co-founder of the company. "Our role in the relocation of the Blue Springs Toyota plant from Northern California in 2010 created a unique opportunity to establish a presence in the Southeast," Mangin added. "With this expansion we are seeking to leverage our success toward increasing SilMan's market share in the Southern industrial community."

The 5 acre, 14,900-square-foot property is located at 100 Parkgate Drive. The purchase was completed in August, 2018. Designs for updating the property are expected to be completed in December. Renovations, including state of the art office and conference facilities, and workshop, are scheduled to begin in early 2019. The is move is tentatively scheduled for Summer 2019.

"The continued growth of Tupelo factors into our strategy to expand at this location," said Tommy Etheridge, general manager of Southern operations. "We are increasingly able to attract and recruit highly qualified professionals who are seeking the quality of life available here."

No plans for the departing facility at 814 Road 261 have been announced, except that SilMan intends to retain the property.

SilMan's Tupelo office houses their national engineering team and Southern headquarters for construction operations. The company plans to utilize the facility for national team meetings, community events, and hosting prospective clients.

The company is active across all Southern states, serving a variety of industries and public entities. SilMan also has field offices in Bardstown, Ky. and Decatur, Ala., and a senior development team in Nashville, Tenn.

About SilMan: SilMan Industries (previously SilMan Construction) is based in San Leandro, Calif. The firm operates in three divisions: Construction, Logistics and Site Services.
