Wayne, PA- November 20, 2017 - Elemica, the leading Business Network for the process industries, announces that Steve Daigle, Director Customer Solutions, was awarded the Allied Providers Council Award. This award, part of the annual AgGateway in Action Awards, chosen by the leadership within various council segments, recognizes individuals who have moved connectivity efforts forward in the current year.

At its annual conference last week, AgGateway honored individuals and companies that are advancing electronic connectivity efforts in agriculture and related industries, thereby expanding the use of information to maximize efficiency and productivity. AgGateway is a non-profit consortium of businesses that helps member companies improve their profitability and productivity by promoting, enabling and expanding eBusiness in agriculture.

"I am honored to be recognized by AgGateway by receiving the AgGateway in Action Award for the Allied Providers Council. Allied Providers represent a collective of products and service providers. Our council serves a critical role helping our AG clients implement technology to automate their business processes and achieve operational efficiencies. I have learned an incredible amount through my AgGateway involvement, and look forward to furthering my involvement in my role as Allied Provider Chairperson for the 2017-2018," said Steve Daigle, Director Customer Solutions at Elemica.

As Chairperson for the Allied Provider Council, Steve will focus on the mission, which is to provide an open forum of agricultural technology and service providers that promote eAgriculture and the AgGateway mission. Allied Provider members serve the agricultural community by conceiving, designing, building, deploying and supporting electronic information management systems and accompanying services.

AgGateway's Annual Conference drew international business and IT professionals from across the industry. The organization currently has more than 230 member companies working on eConnectivity activities within eight major segments ranging from crop nutrition and protection to software and service providers.
