Designed as a humane method of keeping animals away from property, the YardGard repeller system from Bird-X offers an alternative to messy or expensive chemical solutions. YardGard is an effective, maintenance-free electronic yard protector that keeps dogs, cats, deer, raccoons, skunks and other critters from approaching a facility and yard. Using harmless ultrasonic waves, the YardGard electronic control device protects up to 4,000 square feet of space from pest damage. This portable one-pound unit is easy to install anywhere with keyhole slot mounts. The device, which measures just 6.75 by 5.25 by 3.5 inches, comes in a discreet deep-green color to blend with any outdoor décor.

Customers can choose between continuous operation or motion-sensor operation, which activates only when pests move into the coverage zone. The powerful sonic and ultrasonic sound frequencies emitted from the device (15 kHz- 25 kHz) are adjustable, depending on the pest. This weatherproof unit, which features a snap-on rain cover to protect the controls, can operate either on four C-sized batteries or by directly plugging into an AC outlet.
