Crane Worldwide Logistics appoints new Vice President, Ocean Products

October 10, 2017
No Comments

Jeff Mailhiot joins Crane Worldwide Logistics as Vice President, Ocean Products based in Chicago, USA.

Jeff is a graduate of Western Illinois University and joins Crane Worldwide with over 24 years of diverse product experience working with both ocean carriers and NVOCC.

'It is vital for Crane Worldwide to have a balanced portfolio of service offerings for our clients and since we have experienced double digit growth in this area, we are delighted to welcome Jeff aboard to drive our strategic product plan going forward,' comments Chad Taylor, Executive Vice President Global Operations at Crane Worldwide.

'Our clients are facing challenges due to consolidation in the market and the changing of alliance partnerships. For most, this means a revamp in their ocean strategy in order to achieve carrier diversification. Jeff Mailhiot's team of ocean freight trusted advisors will be able to assist our clients during this period of change and strategy transformation.' he adds.

'The recent changes in the Panama canal legislation allowing larger vessels for example will no doubt impact a client's East Coast or West Coast strategy and with his many years of experience, I have complete confidence that Jeff Mailhiot will continue to further enhance Crane Worldwide's position in the market. Providing valuable support and advice during periods of change is what enables us to be trusted advisors to our clients and focus on their future growth plans,' he adds.

'I am excited to join the world class team at Crane Worldwide Logistics. The growth of the company in the past few years is extraordinary and in my opinion, clearly demonstrates the expertise and foresight of the global executive team. I am looking forward to lending my experience and adding value as a trusted advisor to our clients now and in the future,' comments Jeff Mailhiot.
