Upskill Appoints Jeremy Kirsch as Chief Operating Officer

May 23, 2017
No Comments

WASHINGTON, May 23, 2017 - Upskill, the leader in enterprise software for augmented reality (AR) devices, today announced the addition of Jeremy Kirsch as chief operating officer (COO). With two decades of experience starting and scaling software and services companies, Kirsch will lead all customer-facing and revenue-generating aspects of Upskill's business, including sales, marketing, business development, client success and project delivery, while optimizing the management and operating cadence for the growing company.

Kirsch comes to Upskill from Opower (acquired by Oracle in June 2016), where as executive vice president and general manager for worldwide sales, Kirsch grew revenue from $1 million to more than $150 million, while booking more than $1.25 billion in long-term, SaaS contracts. Previously, Kirsch served as vice president, sales and marketing, for the Viisage Secure Credentialing Business at L-1 Identity Solutions. Kirsch also held a business development leadership role at Art Technology Group and was a founding team member at InvestorTree.com. Before that, Kirsch served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy (Special Operations) and holds a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University and his MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

"I am excited to join Upskill as it continues on its trajectory for rapid growth," said Jeremy Kirsch, COO, Upskill. "Just as Opower was a disruptive force in the energy industry, Upskill is transforming the manufacturing, logistics and field service industries. The average 32-percent performance improvement global industrial companies are achieving with Upskill's AR technology is a testament to the company's operational and financial impact. I look forward to bringing my experience to help propel Upskill into its next phase of worldwide market expansion."

Upskill's addition of Kirsch follows two significant company milestones in the last two months, including its acquisition of Pristine and closing of Series B financing, led by Boeing HorizonX and GE Ventures.
