SmartDrive Transportation to Participate in Driver Safety Panel at Managing Fatigue Conference

Noted Predictive Analytics Authority Slaven Sljivar Joins Speakers from NTSB and SleepSafe Drivers to Share Best Practices on Battling Driver Fatigue

This conference will take place March 20-23, 2017 in San Diego. Sljivar will join National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Chairman Michael Fox and SleepSafe Drivers Senior Vice President Steven Garrish and Chief Science Officer Dr. Alan Lankford to share insights on sleep dysfunction and fatigue management in commercial drivers.

Battling exhaustion while behind the wheel is paramount for commercial drivers and fleets. By staying informed on safe driving practices to avoid fatigue, fleet operators can improve safety, reduce risk and enhance driver wellness and quality of life. Session panelists will offer unique insight from a variety of industry perspectives, designed to help attendees recognize and mitigate the risks associated with fatigued driving, including how to leverage technology systems to combat driver fatigue.


Sljivar's comments will focus on how fleet technology is changing driver behavior and performance, as well as how systems such as SmartDrive's video analytics program are helping proactively address fatigue and other unsafe driving practices.
