LEXINGTON, S.C. (February 24, 2017) - Southeastern Freight Lines, the leading provider of regional less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation services, today announced Justin Proffitt has been promoted to the service center manager position in Fort Worth, Texas.
Proffitt holds eight years of experience in the Southeastern family. During his time with Southeastern, he has held positions in the Charleston, South Carolina, service center as pickup and delivery driver, inbound supervisor, pickup and delivery supervisor, operations manager and assistant service center manager. Most recently, Proffitt served as service center manager in Wichita Falls, Texas.
"Justin has proven his dedication to advancing the culture and quality Southeastern provides throughout each of his roles," said David Turner, regional vice president of operations for Southeastern. "We are confident he will make a positive impact in Texas and look forward to the leadership he will bring to Fort Worth."
When he's not at work, Profitt enjoys playing golf, fishing, hiking and traveling with his wife, Rachael, who will join him in Fort Worth upon completing law school in May.
