Project forwarding course kick-starts Year of the Rooster

November 20, 2016
No Comments

The Year of the Rooster offers perfect timing for professional development by completing the Certificate in Project Cargo Forwarding next March during Breakbulk China 2017 in Shanghai.
The Chinese zodiac predicts positive results for those who work hard and embrace opportunities to progress careers.
General Manager of the Project Professionals Group and course training coordinator Kevin Stephens believes the timing is right for project cargo forwarders to refresh their knowledge and update skills while also participating in Breakbulk China, the largest conference and exhibition in Asia for the breakbulk and project cargo sectors.
The two-day ISO accredited course will be held at the InterContinental Shanghai Expo Hotel from 13-14 March as part of the Breakbulk China education program. Attractive group training discounts are available for the course that also includes a free one-day exhibition hall pass to Breakbulk China. Register as early as possible to guarantee course attendance.
Mr Stephens said the course modules included project forwarding case studies, risk management, strategic partnerships, value adding strategies, traffic and logistics functional planning, meeting client expectations, biosecurity, working with brokers, tricks of the project forwarding trade, and preparing quotations.
Business communication addresses crisis communications, persuasive email, and cultural communication, pitching with PowerPoint and how to write winning tenders.
"This training course not only includes hands-on learning experiences and the opportunity to network with project forwarders from around the world, but also a free resources USB that attendees can take away with them and utilise in their workplaces," Mr Stephens said.
The course is also certified by the Project Management Institute (Arabian Gulf Chapter).
