The program is nominated under the Maritime Services category that recognises exceptional achievement or contribution to any service sector of the Australian maritime industry by a company, individual or organisation.
This is the second time that the program's Project Forwarding Management Certificate has been nominated for this award.
PPG founder and general manager Kevin Stephens said more than 450 project forwarders and associated multi-modal transportation workers from around the world have graduated from the ISO accredited training course.
"This professional development course has achieved outstanding levels of satisfaction from attendees around the world in the shipping and maritime industry and it is very pleasing to be recognised with this nomination," Mr Stephens said.
Meanwhile, registrations are now open for the next Project Forwarding Management Certificate at the InterContinental Shanghai Expo Hotel from 14-15 March, 2017, as part of the Breakbulk China education program. Attractive group training discounts are available for the course that also includes a free exhibition hall pass to Breakbulk China.

Grocery shoppers in Australia will soon be able to zip in and out of the store in record time, bypassing the lines for cashiers or self-checkout kiosks altogether. They can just walk in, make their selections, and walk out with their bags in hand.

The secret to this express shopping experience is the “Caper Cart,” an AI (artificial intelligence)-powered smart trolley from San Francisco-based Instacart. In its first deployment in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, the system is being tested by Coles Supermarkets, a food and beverage retailer with more than 1,800 grocery and liquor stores throughout the country.
