Packsize made a splash in the market when it came out with its "right sized" on-demand corrugated box-making equipment more than five years ago. Since then, the company has been focusing on providing solutions that move beyond the box.
Packsize's wide range of solutions were on display this week at its booth at Modex 2018. These include the following newly announced products:
- PackAssist: a software offering that gives Packsize customers real-time remote technical support and assistance
- PackNet.dim: a product dimensioning software program
- Packsize Advanced Products: accessories and consumables, such as stretch film, tape, glue, protective packaging, labels, and equipment like carton erectors
- Professional services: consulting services that can help customers integrate other equipment and solve problems.
The company is also providing a sneak peek at its new M1, which it will officially launch at Pack Expo and the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association Expo in the fall. The M1 series is built for heavy manufacturing requirements to produce right-sized boxes on a mass scale. It will also be able to print right on the box.
