Transfix Expands Footprint with New Office in Downtown Atlanta

August 24, 2021
No Comments

August 24, 2021 (New York, NY) Transfix Inc., a leading transportation solutions provider, today announced the opening of a new office in Atlanta, Georgia, a burgeoning hub for technology and logistics, and an epicenter for the movement and distribution of freight.

“This expansion reflects the continued execution of our aggressive growth strategy,” said Lily Shen, CEO and President of Transfix. “We’re proud to become a part of the Atlanta community and thrilled to welcome local talent to the Transfix team.”

Transfix is experiencing rapid growth, and has more than quadrupled in revenue and tripled in enterprise customers in the past three years. The company continues to hire top global talent across multiple fields, including customer relations, engineering, and operations; at its headquarters in New York City, new Atlanta office, and for remote working positions.

Jonathan Rojas, Vice President of Carrier Management, is leading the Atlanta office development. “Not only does Atlanta present a rich pool of logistics talent, but it also offers proximity to strategic customers and carriers, giving us the opportunity to deepen our relationships,” he said. “We’re looking forward to extending our people-first culture to the Atlanta office, and investing in the growth and development of our new and expanding team.”

The company plans to expand headcount through the end of the year, in 2022, and beyond. This expansion allows Transfix to double down on supporting partners, bringing trust and consistency to the marketplace, and scaling the business.

In the past year alone, Transfix has launched a suite of game-changing products, partnerships, and initiatives that are addressing the multitude of pain points for the millions of individuals who work across the supply chain. The company is building the first digital freight marketplace to systematically eliminate the billions of empty miles driven each year, resulting in a winning strategy for shippers, carriers, consumers, and our environment.
