Charlotte, N.C. - Corporate Traffic Logistics, an asset-based third-party logistics provider headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla., announced today the promotion of Stephen Archibald to general manager of its Charlotte, N.C. branch. Archibald joined Corporate Traffic in 2016 as a logistics sales specialist and his promotion follows a year of 60% growth for the company in 2018. Corporate Traffic is also currently hiring for 12 new logistics sales specialists at its Charlotte branch to support its growing client base in the region.

"Stephen has demonstrated strong leadership and an in-depth understanding of our industry and our clients' business needs during his time at our company, and he has received a number of accolades for his dedication to our clients. Having an individual who places high value in relationship-building and communication with the ability to adapt to various circumstances has helped fuel the success of our Charlotte branch," said Chris Cline, president of Corporate Traffic. "Stephen's passion and commitment to the city of Charlotte, our clients and our business shows his genuine desire for his team to succeed. He is the ideal leader to help achieve continued growth in the southeast region and provide unparalleled service to our clients."

Since joining Corporate Traffic, Archibald has led several successful initiatives, including the implementation of a new employee training program and mentorship program to help team members strengthen client relationships and build their own book of business, among other notable accomplishments. In his new role as general manager, Archibald will focus on building long-term relationships with all clients and fostering stronger collaboration among Corporate Traffic's Headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida and branch in Toledo, Ohio, sharing resources and best practices to help all teams further succeed.

"I have experienced first-hand how Corporate Traffic has built a culture focused on approaching client needs more holistically, both today and over the long term," said Archibald. "By building more substantial relationships with clients, we can make their experience less transactional and better support their business goals."

Archibald was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., before residing in Peru for eight years when he was young. He has lived in Charlotte for more than 20 years and served in the army for six years prior to joining Corporate Traffic. Archibald enjoys playing soccer, surfing, kayaking and volunteering in the Charlotte area.
