LLamasoft to Host Annual LLamaCon EMEA Supply Chain Analytics Conference in Prague

Companies including AB InBev, CHEP, Diageo and IKEA to discuss digital transformation, sustainability, and the role of artificial intelligence in improving operations

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (Nov 5, 2019) - LLamasoft, the leading provider of AI-enabled enterprise decision-making solutions, is proud to welcome innovators, leaders, supply chain practitioners and partners from many of the world's leading companies to the fourth annual LLamaCon EMEA supply chain analytics conference, taking place from November 12-14, 2019 in Prague, Czech Republic.

LLamaCon EMEA draws professionals and executives from a diverse set of industries to collaborate and learn about the latest trends and technologies in supply chain strategy, design and decision-making. The conference includes three learning tracks with real-world use cases of LLamasoft solutions supporting digital transformation, market sensing and demand forecasting, supply chain sustainability, customer-centric supply chain strategy, and the role of artificial intelligence and machine learning as an aid to better decision making.

LLamasoft recently announced the acquisition of Opex Analytics and co-founder, Dr. Michael Watson, will deliver a keynote address to attendees at LLamaCon EMEA. Watson will discuss how Fortune 500 companies are leveraging data and the power of AI and optimization technologies to gain business insights and solve complex problems under changing market conditions and ever-evolving customer demands.

"LLamaCon EMEA continues to grow and our agenda addresses important topics that are relevant for supply chain leaders, business executives and innovators," said Slimane Allab, Senior Vice President and General Manager of LLamasoft EMEA. "In a complex environment where uncertainty prevails, LLamasoft customers are digitally transforming their businesses by investing in their own analytics infrastructure and relying on the technology and insights from LLamasoft to make more informed, data-driven decisions. I'm excited to connect with our partners and customers to share our go-forward vision and product strategy as we work to achieve our mission of elevating lives and organizations through the science of smarter decision-making."

In addition, LLamasoft is dedicated to helping its customers achieve their sustainability goals and positively impact 100 million lives by 2022. This year at LLamaCon EMEA, attendees will also hear from Pepa Alvarado, Senior Manager Global Supply Chain & Optimization Design, and Marianne Richeux, Zero Waste World Program Lead, Europe, of CHEP. The CHEP business model is inherently circular, using pooled assets and sustainability solutions so their customers' supply chains become more efficient in terms of cost and use of natural resources. CHEP enables companies to become part of the circular economy through principles of share and reuse.

"The supply chain industry faces the dual challenge of increasing strain on the environment and growing consumer demands. A drastic shift from a linear to a circular supply chain model is the only way forward," said Richeux. "We have operated the biggest B2B share and re-use business model for 60 years. The recent launch of our Zero Waste World programme is our latest contribution to re-designing supply chains into shared circular networks. We look forward to meeting other companies at LLamaCon with a similar drive to a more sustainable future."

LLamaCon was named a "Best Supply Chain Shows for 2019" by Forbes. To learn more about the EMEA LLamaCon event, see the agenda here. To register for the event, click here, or follow the conference on social media using the hashtag #LLamaCon.
