Cornwell will lead the development of the company's financial modeling and business intelligence tools used to help companies optimize spend across the supply chain.

Cornwell comes to SME from American Global Logistics, where he served as director of finance and manager of financial planning and analysis, respectively. While at American Global Logistics, Cornwell spearheaded the creation of the company's financial planning and analysis (FP&A) department, and was responsible for creating an enterprise-wide Access Database and financial dashboards used for internal and external reporting. Cornwell also held financial analyst positions at Arconic (NYSE: ARNC) and thyssenkrupp Elevator Americas.
