Lubenow Companies Inc donated a portion of its proceeds from the month of March to The Littlest Tumor Foundation.

GREEN BAY, Wis. - Hauling for Good, a new fundraising program by Lubenow Companies Inc, was created this year to give back to the community. During the month of March, the Haul-Around Champion (SM) donated a percentage of its proceeds to the Littlest Tumor Foundation to support their fight against Neurofibromatosis. But, the company didn't anticipate just how popular the program would become.

"Once we began sharing the program with customers and vendors, we began receiving heartfelt emails from people who have been impacted by Neurofibromatosis," said David Boeder, Director of Client Services at Lubenow Companies Inc.

Neurofibromatosis is one of the most common genetic disorders impacting children, but many have never heard of the disorder. To date, there are no effective treatments or a cure.

When asked about the success of the program, Darrell Lubenow, Owner of Lubenow Companies Inc. remarked, "I am grateful for the outpouring of support our clients have shown for Hauling for Good and the Littlest Tumor Foundation. This type of program could not be successful without the steadfast support of our clients, employees, and vendors."

The inaugural Hauling for Good campaign overshot its goal by over 10% raising a total of $5,506. The funds will benefit the Littlest Tumor Foundation and its mission to increase awareness and understanding of Neurofibromatosis (NF). The non-profit organization is based in Appleton, Wisconsin. Empowering children with NF and their family members, the organization offers wellness retreats and hosts a kid's camp. Also, the foundation strives to help advance research for preventative therapies. Visit https://littlesttumor.org/ to learn more.

"We were all thrilled to be involved in this program and to support the Littlest Tumor Foundation," said Colleen Curtis, a team member at Lubenow Companies Inc. "Last year, I had the opportunity to attend the camp that the foundation puts on for kids with NF, and I was very impressed with the work the organization is doing to support families who are dealing with NF."
