Hemlock Harling Distribution Chooses ProShip Multi-Carrier Shipping Software

ProShip, Inc., a Neopost company and leader in logistics software and supply chain solutions, today announced that Hemlock Harling Distribution, a marketing, postal and third-party distribution company, has chosen ProShip® Multi-Carrier Shipping Software for all seven Canadian distribution sites. ProShip Software will give Hemlock Harling, comprised of Hemlock Printers and Harling Direct, the ability to utilize one centralized platform that rate shops amongst multiple carriers and their services while offering reporting visibility and allowing for future growth.

ProShip Software is a fully integrated, automated shipping and manifesting solution that automates the shipping process in order for distribution and e-commerce companies to meet a variety of their customers' needs. At fulfillment, a carrier-certified label and other required documentation is generated, automatically allowing every order to get on the truck faster, which in turn helps to build a loyal customer base. ProShip Software will standardize the company's business rules and integration, optimize carrier selection and centralize system management and reporting across all of Hemlock Harling's distribution sites.

"Previously, we had to manage multiple shipping systems for multiple sites. We will now have a centralized ProShip Software application for all locations, which will allow for streamlined fulfillment operations, better support, and improved reporting and system management through one simplified integration," said Randy Yates, President of Harling Direct.

"With ProShip Software, we now have rate visibility via rate shopping, allowing us to automate selection of the fastest and cheapest way to ship every domestic and international order. As a Canada Post Expert Partner, our clients trust our mailing knowledge and technical expertise, so finding a solution that will scale with us as we grow was an important reason we chose ProShip as our shipping software solution," added Yates.

"We are very excited to have Hemlock Harling Distribution on board with us," said Jim Holden, Vice President of Sales at ProShip, Inc. "We are confident that ProShip Software will cover all of Hemlock Harling's needs in terms of simplicity, visibility, customization, support and scalability."

Holden added that he is excited to add another third party logistics company under ProShip's wing. "The growth of e-commerce is affecting everyone in the industry, and as parcel growth continues to rise year over year, more and more companies are realizing the need for a reliable and scalable multi-carrier shipping solution."
