Randy Baird Joins CBRE Capital Markets As Dallas Leader Of Industrial & Logistics Specialty Group

Los Angeles, June 8, 2017 - CBRE Group, Inc. today announced that Randy Baird has joined CBRE as executive vice president and Dallas leader of the firm's National Partners Industrial specialty group. Based in Dallas, Mr. Baird will have overall responsibility for the wider South Central region in Texas.

An accomplished senior commercial real estate professional with more than 22 years of experience, Mr. Baird has been involved in the sale of over 500 million square feet of industrial real estate totaling more than $20 billion in transaction value. He has been involved in transactions in 50 different markets across the United States and Mexico.

Mr. Baird's appointment coincides with the promotion of Jack Fraker to a global role as managing director, Global Industrial & Logistics. Mr. Fraker, a foremost leader in industrial real estate, will integrate the CBRE Capital Markets industrial & logistics vertical globally, in addition to leading the practice in the U.S.

"Randy's tremendous knowledge of the industrial sector, combined with his outstanding relationships, will be instrumental to CBRE's continued growth in the region and a complement to our existing teams. Mr. Baird joins CBRE from Cushman & Wakefield where he most recently served as executive vice president and a leader of the firm's Industrial Advisory Group. Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Baird spent five years at HFF as senior managing director. He was also a managing partner at Baird Fitzgerald Partners, a privately-held real estate investment firm.
