JTS (Johanson Transportation Service), a leading third-party supply chain solutions provider, announces that the following employees were awarded the designation of Certified Transportation Brokers (CTB) by the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA): Randy Coffman, Branch Manager of the Midwest Division; Drew Ganske, Sales and Logistics Coordinator in the Fresno Perishable division; Pete Donlon, Data Analyst in the Fresno Perishable division; and, Melanie Velasquez, Sales and Logistics Coordinator in the Fresno Non-Perishable division.
The exam tests the knowledge of participants on brokerage, ethics, contracts, pricing, legal and regulatory requirements, as well as the latest trends in transportation and business management.
"We are proud that our employees are dedicated to growing professionally and applying ethical practices to their daily operations and interactions with customers. Their CTB designation shows they are fully capable of handling our customers' logistics needs with the highest level of service and knowledge in the business," says President/CEO Larry Johanson.
Mr. Coffman is a 21-year veteran with JTS and runs the Midwest division in Madison, Wisconsin. Mr. Ganske has worked for JTS three years, and Mr. Donlon has 11 years with the company. Ms. Velasquez will be celebrating five years with JTS in February.
The CTB designation is a mark of respect for transportation intermediaries.
