Systems. The company's decision followed an extensive evaluation of several VMS providers, ultimately choosing I.D. Systems' PowerFleet based on its advanced capabilities and analytics software.

PowerFleet improves workplace safety in several areas including restricting access to vehicles to only trained operators, vehicle inspection checklist compliance, impact detection, monitoring and reporting unsafe driving and safety violations. PowerFleet also automatically notifies maintenance personnel of vehicles in need of repair, and locks-out vehicles that are unsafe to drive until repairs have been completed.
Michael Foods also expects to be able to identify areas where performance and productivity can be improved using PowerFleet IQ®, the analytics software component of the PowerFleet system.
