ODW LOGISTICS EXPANDING IN COLUMBUS, OH

Partnership with Beech-Nut Nutrition Company creating nearly 40 new jobs in Central Ohio

ODW Logistics, a leading provider of warehousing, transportation and integrated logistics solutions is expanding its presence in the central Ohio region. Headquartered in Columbus, Ohio since 1971, ODW Logistics also operates in Cincinnati, Chicago, Milwaukee, and Los Angeles. The new facility in Columbus will be the company's 9th distribution center in Central Ohio and will open in Grove City, OH this August 2016.

"We are excited to be partnering with Beech-Nut Nutrition Corporation and bringing a new partnership to the Columbus market," said Ted Nikolai, COO at ODW Logistics. "The 102,000 square-foot facility include machinery, racking, lift truck equipment and advanced automation to bring efficient and innovative warehouse solutions." It is expected to create nearly 40 new jobs.

The forklift’s winning bid of $40,000 significantly contributed to the auction’s total proceeds of $2.15 million, supporting CIM’s mission to address the growing demand for skilled professionals in the concrete industry. Offered at five universities, CIM equips students with technical, communication and management expertise, preparing them for successful careers in a rapidly evolving industry. Proceeds from the auction are used to assist CIM in funding higher education programs that offer degrees in concrete industry management.
