Pelican BioThermal, a global leader providing the broadest and most innovative range of temperature-controlled packaging solutions serving the life sciences industry, today announces its partnership with Kryotec based in Mexico City, Mexico.

This partnership aligns with Pelican BioThermal's goal to expand distribution of their temperature controlled packaging within growing and emerging world markets, and follows recent announcements of newly added distribution in Asia and South America.

"At Pelican BioThermal, we strive to offer advanced and efficient solutions for the pharmaceutical, life sciences, clinical trials and leading supply chain logistics industry companies on an international scale," explained Kevin Lawler, Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Pelican BioThermal. "With the addition of a partner in Mexico, we will be able to better serve our mutual customers in the region with a broad portfolio of temperature controlled packaging for a variety of applications, utilizing both our reusable Credo™ packaging and single use Chronos™ packaging."

Kryotec offers cold chain logistics support in Mexico. Located in Mexico City, Kryotec was founded in 1997, forming the first Mexican company offering qualified packaging solutions for temperature-sensitive products.

"The market in Mexico and Central America is anticipating exceptional growth, and collaborating with Pelican BioThermal is way to capitalize on this opportunity and get a step ahead of the competition," said Kryotec Assistant Director, Uriel Infante.

Kryotec joins Pelican Products' growing global network of distribution partners and industry specific alliances spanning over six continents. Visit PelicanBioThermal.com to learn more about Pelican BioThermal product offerings and a greater scope of the company's global network.

Pelican BioThermal is a division of Pelican Products, Inc., which is a portfolio company of Behrman Capital, a private equity investment firm based in New York and San Francisco.
