NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association, will once again bring I.CON, a national industrial real estate conference, to New Jersey. NAIOP NJ will host the prestigious event, slated for June 9 - 10 at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City.
"This conference for the industrial real estate sector provides the opportunity to network and share strategies with top industrial professionals from across North America—more than 600 are expected to attend," said Michael G. McGuinness, CEO of NAIOP New Jersey.
"I.CON offers the most up-to-date information and trends, presented by the most notable names in the industry. Topics will include e-commerce trends, the logistics supply chain, demand for new industrial development, trends in current and future industrial facilities and more," he said.
Among the program highlights will be an Industrial Market Overview, presented by Jay Olshansky, President of NAI Global. The keynote will be provided by Industry luminary Ming Mei, CEO of GLP, who will offer his views in a Mega Deals/Aggregator Session, presented in a fireside chat format. And Clark Machemer, Senior Vice President of The Rockefeller Group and current President of NAIOP New Jersey, will lead a timely panel discussion on Comparing the Cycles - providing insight into the market's cyclical movement.
Special events will include a waterside boat tour of the Port of New York & New Jersey, and a visit to the UPS sorting hub in Raritan Center in Edison, both scheduled for June 9. A special pre-conference bonus tour of industrial development in Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley is slated for June 8.
