A Record-Breaking First Quarter for Open Sky Group Fueled by Four JDA Warehouse Management System Implementations for Four Clients

April 28, 2016
No Comments

Open Sky Group (Open Sky), a consulting company specializing in WMS and Labor software implementations, implemented JDA Warehouse Management for four separate clients who all went live with their systems in Q1 2016.

The four projects, averaging less than six months apiece, began in late 2015. Each project varied in complexity and size and covered a variety of industries from food and consumer goods to pharma and retail apparel. Each WMS implementation involved varying levels of integration with material handling equipment and other software systems, including Transportation Management and SAP. Enhanced Client Billing, a highly configurable module developed by Open Sky Group, played a major role in the projects. This module works inside of JDA Warehouse Management, capturing all billable transactions that happen within the system.

"This was an incredible undertaking for our services teams and our biggest quarter-to-date," said Chad Kramlich, SVP, Client Services for Open Sky Group. "Open Sky's experience with the 8.2 version of JDA Warehouse Management and Warehouse Labor Management and the strength of those solutions were key to the success of the four projects. The teams were well prepared and worked closely together to ensure successful go-live of the solutions."
