Parkman has 22 years of industry experience, spending the past 10 years as the service center manager in Southeastern's West Palm Beach facility. Throughout his career, Parkman has also served as a freight handler and account manager, as well as held inbound, outbound, and pick-up and delivery leadership positions.
"Charles' work ethic, performance and dedication to living our company's culture prove he is a great asset and committed ambassador for Southeastern," said Algie Grubbs, regional vice president of operations for Southeastern. "We are excited for Charles to take on this new role and confident he will experience continued success in Tampa."
Parkman will make the transition with his wife of 16 years, Stephanie, and their two children. In his free time, Parkman enjoys playing basketball and soccer, as well as coaching his children's youth basketball and football teams.
