Amazon has made another move in the e-grocery business, expanding its AmazonFresh grocery delivery service to Houston, Minneapolis, and Phoenix, the company said today.
AmazonFresh is offering one- and two-hour grocery delivery in all three markets to its Amazon Prime members, for an additional monthly cost of $14.99. Beer and wine delivery is available to select customers in the Houston area, Seattle-based Amazon said.
"Prime members tell us they want their stuff even faster," Stephenie Landry, vice president of AmazonFresh and Prime Now said in a statement. "We're happy to deliver on that ask and can't wait for customers in Houston, Minneapolis, and Phoenix to take advantage of one- and two-hour delivery from AmazonFresh."
