Logistics software vendor Logistyx Technologies has released a transportation management system (TMS) product designed to help parcel shippers of all sizes compete with e-commerce giants like Amazon.com Inc. and Alibaba.com.

TME 3.0 offers users a multi-carrier network, predictive analytics, and full visibility into customer deliveries, the Rolling Meadows, Ill.-based company said. The platform selects the most efficient combination of multi-carrier services, documents those services to ensure compliance, tracks the services through to completion, and ensures accurate billing and timely payment, Logistyx says.

Shippers can also set thresholds that trigger proactive alerts about delays and other problems and automatically provide options to resolve them or reduce end-customer dissatisfaction. In another feature, users can define their own business rules to direct TME 3.0's rapid parcel carrier selection based on factors such as package weight, contents, carrier contracts, and rates.

The release follows Logistyx' 2018 move to acquire Dutch transportation software provider Transparix. Logistyx was created in 2017 when two private equity firms bought and merged three parcel software providers, including Advanced Distribution Solutions, Inc. (ADSI), Agile Network, and Pantechnik International.

We're all in this together! @logistyx TME 3.0 integrates w/Omni-channel solutions, E-commerce, TMS, WMS, ERP & multi-carrier mgmt software to create a "one-touch" shipping ecosystem & align your supply chain technology stack w/ your business objectives. https://t.co/32D2TLVtqP pic.twitter.com/EtZA7lGk5E
