The Port of Vancouver USA said today it has opened a light-industrial building that offers close-by transportation access for companies in advanced manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution.
The 125,000-square-foot space is located on the banks of the Columbia River in Vancouver, Wash., in the port's Centennial Industrial Park. Access to transportation includes nearby interstate highways, BNSF Railway and Union Pacific Railroad mainlines, and the Portland International Airport, the port said.
The development is sustainably built, which includes recognition by the Green Building Initiative, an industry group that tracks resource efficiency and the reduction of environmental impacts in design and construction, according to the port.
