Daifuku to move North American headquarters

Material handling solutions provider Daifuku North America Holding Co. will move its headquarters next year from Farmington Hills, Mich., to nearby Novi, Mich., adding 85 jobs in its expanded office space, the company said Tuesday.

Daifuku will also construct an in-house demonstration center and a modern factory acceptance testing center, the company said. The 4-mile move is scheduled to take place in the third quarter, Daifuku said.

The new, 76,889-square-foot facility will house more than 300 employees, including those who will fill new positions by 2019, Daifuku said.

Daifuku's world headquarters are in Osaka, Japan.
