Inc., a major beer, wine and liquor distributor based in Indianapolis. The handheld computing solution, built around the Symbol SPT 1800 ruggedized handheld computer and Vermont Information Processing software, enables salespeople and drivers to capture critical market data on the spot and transmit it electronically back to Monarch's host computer, eliminating the need for redundant data entry by back-office staff and allowing faster and more accurate order invoicing.
