FreightPlus Appoints Jason Clifford as Chief Technology Officer

QUINCY, Mass — FreightPlus, a data-driven managed transportation solutions provider, has announced the expansion of its executive team with the hiring of Jason Clifford as its first Chief Technology Officer. In his new role, Clifford will be responsible for the company’s technology strategy, as well as driving implementation and innovation in FreightPlus’ next stage of growth.

Revenue for the company has more than quadrupled over the past five years. From FreightPlus’ new headquarters in Quincy, CEO Stephen Aborn commented, “We are incredibly excited to announce that Jason Clifford is joining the executive team at FreightPlus. Data and technology have always been at the heart of our mission, and Jason’s arrival will allow us to continue to invest in technology and build great products for our clients. Jason will lead the efforts to enhance our award-winning business intelligence platform and build technology that will help us scale and manage our explosive growth.”


Clifford brings over 25 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing mission critical software, infrastructure, and organization at global business service providers. Prior to joining FreightPlus, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Public Consulting Group, Inc. During his time at PCG, Clifford was responsible for product development and cloud enablement for all technology solutions, delivering scalable platforms and services to public sector clients.
