(TSX: TFII, OTCQX: TFIFF), a North American leader in the transportation and logistics industry, announced today that Jason Dekker has joined as director of international business development for CFI Logistica, the company's wholly owned subsidiary providing logistics services in Mexico and transborder operations between the U.S. and Canada.

In his new role, Dekker will oversee business development operations for CFI Logistica, including client development and engagement, sales and marketing plans, and strategic business growth initiatives.

CFI and CFI Logistica have been serving the Mexico market for over 35 years and represent one of the country's most experienced and reliable service providers for intra-Mexico freight transportation as well as transborder services with the U.S. and Canada.

"Jason is a seasoned sales executive with extensive experience and recognized expertise in freight transportation and logistics services," said Greg Orr, CFI's president. "We welcome his insights and leadership as we continue to build our presence in cross-border Mexico services and deliver cost-effective, reliable solutions for our customers."

Dekker joins CFI from New Penn Motor Express where most recently he served as vice president of sales and marketing, responsible for leading the sales, marketing and customer experience efforts at the nation's 22nd largest less-than-truckload (LTL) transportation provider. Prior to New Penn he was a corporate account executive for LTL carrier YRC Freight.

Dekker also spent nearly 12 years with national LTL carrier Con-way Freight, where he started as a business development manager and advanced through increasingly responsible sales management positions, ultimately earning promotion to director of national sales.

Dekker is a graduate of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville where he earned his bachelor's degree in political science and government. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt and holds a Lean Individual Bronze certification. Dekker will be based at CFI's offices in Joplin, MO.
