TAKE THE A-TRAIN? BETTER YET, TAKE THE A-FRAME...CART THAT IS.

April 5, 2016
No Comments

Sometimes a simple square or 'cube' cart just isn't the right design to get a job done. When that happens, it's good to have a supplier that thinks outside-the-box, or in this case, outside-the-cube. Case in point, Creform Corporation and its new A-Frame Cart design. Designed in this case (pictured) to specifically hold bus entry doors and related parts in a production environment.
The cart is ideal to assist in production efficiency, reduction of product damage and to support lean manufacturing initiatives. The unique A-frame design tilts the stored doors back so they stay secure in place prior to and during load/unload. A lip at the bottom of the cart adds additional secured holding for the lower portion of the door. The cart features four centrally located and easily adjusted shelves for added flexibility which can be accessed from either side. Each of the shelves feature a ½ in. HDPE bottom for easy load/unload and product protection. The ability to see through the structure also enhances its safety and visual inventory management.
The cart shown has overall dimensions of 40" L x 36" W x 36" H and comes with four large diameter swivel casters (two locking) with 5 in. wheels. A variety of configurations and pipe color options are available including anti-static. The cart shown can hold up to 500 lb.
