AT01 RFID tag

September 21, 2010
No Comments

The AT01 from William Frick is a durable, long-read-range RFID tag designed for use in logistics, warehouse management, large equipment tagging, and other applications where read distance is crucial. This tag will read from more than 16 feet away, making it suitable for tracking shipping containers in a logistics environment. The long read range is also well suited for scanning tall shelves.

For convenience in logistics and manufacturing applications, William Frick has combined a magnetic tag, an adhesive-backed tag, and an RFID wire-attached tag into one multi-purpose identification tag. The printed bar code and human readable information ensure easy and accurate data collection no matter how the tag is read. The RFID signal can be read four to 10 feet away, depending on hardware and environmental conditions. This tag is also chemical, water, and abrasion resistant. It is available with either an aggressive or removable adhesive and provides durable product identification.

The thin, yet durable RFID tag is designed for floors, walls, and other flat objects. Tough enough to resist being driven over with a forklift, these tags are used to mark the floor location in a warehouse or distribution facility to aid in automatic data collection and inventory control. The tag's permanent 3M adhesive provides a high-strength bond to concrete, plastic, or painted surfaces. This adhesive also bonds well to surfaces lightly contaminated with oil.
