Shipping Dashboard Web-based shipment tracker

November 1, 2008
No Comments

Old Dominion Freight Line has unveiled a Web-based shipment tracker called the Shipping Dashboard. The Dashboard will allow registered customers to monitor the status of recent shipments through their "ODFL4Me" personal page on Old Dominion's Web site. The dashboard gives users the visibility they need to remain in control of their shipping.

The Dashboard shows inbound, outbound, and delivered shipment activity for the last three to 14 days and includes state-of-the-art technical features such as mouse-over/pop-up shipment status details, personalized sorting options, and interactive updates.

The Shipping Dashboard provides users with an account list of companies and locations associated with their user ID. It also offers a Trace Shipment feature that allows the user to enter a Pro number (freight bill number) and view the shipment status without having to leave the Dashboard. Among the shipping data tracked through the dashboard are purchase order number, bill of lading number, shipper, consignee, origin, destination, pieces, weight, charges, status, and estimated and delivered date. Links are also available to shipment documents.
