The QWIK slots on Dorner's new 5200 Series QWIK Conveyor make mounting controls and accessories quick and easy. No special tools, fasteners, or T-nuts are required. This feature speeds system set-up and saves time and money.
By simply using a self-tapping screw, customers can attach a photo eye kit, conduit, air hose, electrical boxes, or switches anywhere along the conveyor, even through a curve. And the QWIK Conveyor also has the standard T-slot, giving customers even more options for mounting controls and accessories.
Dorner's 5200 Series QWIK Conveyor allows end users to modify the length, or even add or remove a curve, to adjust to changing applications. These design features give end users in packaging, automation, and industrial applications the flexibility to quickly and easily modify their conveyor systems any time processes change.
The conveyor can be shortened or extended by one person with a few tools in as little as 10 minutes. The worker removes the plastic chain belt and cuts the conveyor with a saw to the desired length. He or she then removes the appropriate amount of belt links to fit the new length and tightens the screws with an Allen wrench. To add length, a worker would remove the tail, insert a new section of pre-ordered frame, and tighten with an Allen wrench.
The 5200 Series QWIK Conveyor comes in straights, curves, and cleats.
