Intralox's Series 400 Angled Roller Belt can increase conveyor productivity and decrease operational expenses in material handling applications. Users deploying the belts in their singulation applications can expect throughput increases of 1 to 3 percent. Labor costs required for monitoring and correcting side-by-side packages and orientation problems are also reduced. In sortation applications, the belts are capable of sorting products that pop-up rollers and pusher arms cannot. They also cost less than competing sorting technologies such as tilt trays, shoe sorters or cross belt sorters. Depending on type, up to 250 packages per minute can be sorted with outstanding accuracy, the company says.
