VX3X vehicle-mounted computer

February 1, 2007
No Comments

LXE Inc., a manufacturer of rugged wireless computers, introduces the VX3X vehicle-mounted computer. This Windows CE.NET-driven unit is small and economical and is suitable for use on smaller warehouse vehicles that have limited space for mounting a computer, such as pallet jacks, walkies, pickers and narrow-aisle lift trucks. The unit's 1/2 VGA hi-bright color LCD screen ensures readability in any lighting condition.

The VX3X computer simplifies the data entry process by providing operators with the option of inputting data via a touchscreen, a full QWERTY keyboard or an attachable scanner. This unit is made tough, with specialized plastics that absorb impact, solid state industrialized electronics that resist shock and vibration; and a display and keyboard that can handle the rigors of rugged industrial operations. The VX3X computer includes an 802.11 IEEE 802.11b & g radio and has a 12-80VDC internal, fully isolated power supply so it can be used on almost every lift truck on the market.

The VX3X vehicle-mounted computer is also voice-ready, using LXE's ToughTalk voice recognition technology. With the VX3X vehicle-mounted computer, customers can run voice logistics applications and traditional bar-code scanning applications on the same unit.
