Reject Module for 250 tamp-blow printer applicators

ID Technology introduces a Reject Module for its line of 250 tamp-blow printer applicators. The 250r RFID printer applicator reads, writes and verifies RFID tags prior to printing and dispensing the tag/label onto a tamp pad for automatic application to a case or carton. If the RFID tag cannot be verified, then the reject module moves in front of the tamp pad and the bad tag/label is blown onto the reject plate. When the plate is full of rejected tags, a beacon is illuminated to alert the user. The 250r unit also features hot-swap spare assemblies that can be installed in minutes. The RFID enabled printer applicator is designed to be EPC Generation 2ready and can be easily upgraded to the new protocol in the field.
